The highest resort in Europe, Val-Thorens is situated at the centre of an imposing cirque of five glaciers. The snow, present all year long, is of an exceptional quality from December to May. The original architecture of the Residence comprises five buildings of 7 to 10 floors. The complex has its own health club (at a charge) with saunas, jacuzzis and a weights room.
